Commuters in Karachi were stunned on Tuesday evening after seeing a young lion taking a leisurely stroll down a busy street after escaping from a car while being transported, Geo News reported.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows the lion prowling the busy street, Sharea Faisal, as cars and people pass by.

After escaping, the lion entered the building’s parking lot, according to Geo News. The authorities somehow managed to put the lion in a cage and get him to safety. When police arrived, they advised everyone to keep their distance and avoid the big cat, Geo News reports.
Law enforcement officials claimed the lion had been transported in a car when it escaped, adding that they had apprehended the driver.
The police also stated that they tried to contact employees of the wildlife department.
