“Imran Niazi wants to unleash a civil war in the country. But he is wrong,” said Pak PM.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has warned Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan that the deposed former prime minister wants a civil war in the country but the nation will hold him by the collar for his sins .
“Imran Niazi wants to unleash a civil war in the country. But he is mistaken. The nation will never forgive him for the sin and will hold him by the collar,” Shehbaz said, answering media questions about PTI’s announcement of a long protest march to Islamabad on March 25, the Dawn reported.
Prime Minister Shehbaz addressed the media at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute on Sunday. Speaking about the government’s plans to halt the march, he said a decision would be made if and when needed.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah also commented on the PTI’s long march, saying, “The government and its allies will decide whether the PTI’s long march is allowed to enter Islamabad.”
“If the coalition takes action, we won’t even let protesters out of their homes,” he added.
Referring to PTI’s pledge to organize a peaceful march, Sanaullah went on to say: “Given the past history of PTI and its employees, I fear they will come to Islamabad with the intent of causing anarchy. I have not trusted Imran Khan since.” he had a history of speaking “lies and taking U turns,” the Dawn reported.
“Three days behind bars will wipe out politics from him,” he added.
He also accused Imran Khan of victimizing political opponents during his three-and-a-half-year tenure and said he did nothing for welfare projects.
“The former prime minister did not have a moment to think about the well-being of the masses as he continued to hold back the nerves of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to victimize opposition leaders,” Sanaullah added.
On the same subject, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary General Nayyar Bokhari spoke that people would fail in the PTI’s long march as Imran Khan’s government saddled people with an unprecedented price hike, the Dawn reported.
Khan’s policy would not continue under the pretense of seeking support from the families of police officers, bureaucrats and military officials. Imran has made hundreds of thousands of people unemployed and now he will have to face their anger,” he said.
Bokhari also said that holding a public meeting is a legal right of every citizen, but the government will not allow the PTI protesters to take the law and will be treated with iron hands if they become violent.
