In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly killed his four minor children by throwing them into a canal to cover up his crime in Pakistan’s Lahore city, police said on Tuesday.
The victims – Sabir, Ayesha, Nabiha and Samia – were between 5 and 11 years old.
Muhammad Azeem, a resident of Kahna, a densely populated, low-income area, complained to police on Monday that his four children had been kidnapped, police said.
The police started an investigation after registering an FIR against unknown kidnappers. “During the investigation, the investigators suspected Azeem and questioned him. Police and Rescue Department 1122 made efforts to recover the bodies from the Lahore Canal.
