London, United Kingdom:
Vladimir Putin has offered to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the current front line, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, because Donald Trump tries to end his promise to end the three -year conflict.
According to the FT, who quotes “people who are familiar with the case”, Putin made the proposal during a meeting with the American envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg earlier this month.
The Russian leader indicated that he would be willing to participate in the claims of Moscow in parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia – four regions that partially occupy it.
In exchange, the United States can allow the other major demands of Russia, according to the FT, including recognizing the sovereignty on the Crimea Peninsula, attached in 2014, and with Ukraine to become a member of NATO.
KYIV and his European allies have demanded a complete recovery of the boundaries of Pre-2014 of Ukraine, a position that the American Minister of Defense has described Pete Hegseeth as “unrealistic”.
