Samsung, one of the leading Android phone makers, has ridiculed Apple for switching to USB Type-C via the Lightning port in its latest iPhones and Airpods. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the South Korean tech giant said they can ‘C’ the change that is magical. Apple unveiled its new iPhone series with the Type-C port after a battle with the European Union (EU). The new port offers faster charging and data transfer speeds.

Samsung’s post has been viewed more than a million times. But the Internet is divided: some users praise Apple’s ecosystem, while others give the Samsung-made Android ecosystem a thumbs up.
“Y’all need to give it a rest. Y’all use the iPhone every year to chase power. All these tweets still don’t make us buy Samsung products,” one user said.
“Win-win for Samsung. Samsung is Apple’s largest component supplier and supplies them with a wide range of parts, including displays, memory chips and processors. This relationship has existed for many years and is beneficial to both companies.” ” said another. “Not even funny. And the iPhone is a lot better anyway,” a third user added.
Others, however, enjoyed the ongoing rivalry between two tech giants.
“We know what you did there,” said one user. “Samsung handler deserves a raise,” said another.
After last year’s event, the Seoul-based company had already mocked Apple for its “lack of innovation” even before the launch of the iPhone 14.
In an advertisement, Samsung showed off some of its advanced features and 120x zoom available in its flagship device. “This innovation isn’t coming to an iPhone near you anytime soon,” the company had said.
In November 2022, Samsung mocked Apple again while responding to reports that the iPhone maker is working on a foldable phone.
Samsung said in its advertisement that Apple always makes iPhone users wait for new and useful features.
