Eminent Indian Americans on Wednesday welcomed the re-election of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States and vowed to work with him on various issues, including that of the US-India relationship.

“The American people have spoken. Congratulations to President Trump for his strong victory. Now is the time for the American people to come together, pray for our country and begin the process of a peaceful transition,” said former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. .

Dr. Krishna Reddy, chairman of the Indian American Friendship Council, congratulated Trump on the super victory. “This is the beginning of super relations between the US and India and together we will keep the world safe again. This is the great strength of Indian Americans to rebuild a robust economy and Indian Americans are a big part of this success,” he said.
