Turkish police said Monday they had arrested a Syrian woman for planting a bomb that killed six people in central Istanbul, adding that she worked for Kurdish militants.
The woman has “Syrian nationality,” private NTV television quoted the police as saying. She has reportedly admitted to receiving an order from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has been labeled a terror group by Ankara and its Western allies.
