The Israeli army said on Tuesday that it has carried out around 480 attacks on strategic military targets in Syria in the past 48 hours, days after the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad.
“Within the past 48 hours, the IDF (army) struck most of Syria's strategic weapons stockpiles, preventing them from falling into the hands of terrorist elements,” the army said in a statement, adding that the targets included 15 naval ships. anti-aircraft batteries and weapons production sites in several cities.
