Rabat, Morocco:
At least 2,681 people have been killed in the strongest earthquake ever to hit Morocco, the Interior Ministry said on Monday, revising an earlier death toll of almost 2,500.
Another 2,501 people were injured, the ministry said, as rescuers raced against time to try to find survivors.
