The Polish president called the war in Ukraine “terrorism” and demanded justice.
Kyiv:
Polish President Andrzej Duda on Wednesday called the war in Ukraine “terrorism” and said those who committed crimes should be brought to justice, as should those who gave the orders.
In Kiev to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy along with the three leaders of the Baltic states, Duda said at a press conference: “This is not war, this is terrorism.” He had previously visited the town of Bucha, just outside Kiev, where the discovery of civilians killed after Russian troops withdrew has sparked global outrage.
Russia has denied targeting civilians and has dismissed allegations that its troops committed war crimes as fake news.
