A woman on Tiktok has emerged and alleged impractical jokers star Joe Gatto has sexually abused her. A tick user, Joozyb, accused the actor of sexual abuse of her when she was 19 in 2023.
In a video posted on Thursday (March 20) she claimed: “I was sexually abused by Joe Gatto, the impractic joker.”
In a follow -up video she described to meet Gatto while he performed in Milwaukee in September 2023. She came across him for the first time at Brunch with her mother and sister, where she asked for a photo. Later she reported Gatto, then 46, on Instagram, hoping for free tickets for his show. He responded by giving her two show tickets and meeting Meet-and-Greet Passen for his performance in the Pabst Theater on 8 September 2023.
She only went to the show, took a photo with Gatto and then left the location. Later she claims that she drank with her roommate while she exchanged Instagram messages with him. In her tap video she explained: “I was drunk, whatever, and he texted me all these things. And it started to get a bit weird, you know.”
According to her, Gatto then switched to Vanish Mode-A function with which Instagram users can send disappearing messages and gave her instructions to reach his hotel. She described at the location: “Someone led me to the elevator and someone was sitting on the elevator with me and pressed the button.”
She did not go into detail about what happened afterwards, but stated that “some things happened.” She also shared an image from the hotel with a time stamp of September 9, 2023, at 2:26 am, claiming that it was when she left.
She ended her video and said how difficult it was to come forward: “I wanted to tell people this for so long. I have tried it fun, in different ways, but it's hard with someone that is so big. [I] Come to the realization that when I say something, I really say something. “
Prior to these allegations, she placed a mounting with photos of her and Gatto before the alleged incident, as well as screenshots of their conversations. In another video she showed a picture of a bruised buttock and claimed that it was an injury of that night.
She endorsed the post: “Yes, he did me. Yes, he had just come together with his wife. I'm sorry you don't want to hear it, but.”
In response, Gatto spoke to the allegations in a statement Page six:
“I used a bad judgment and as a result I have violated the trust of the people I love the most. But everyone who knows me annoyingly knows very well that I would not attack anyone.”
The 48-year-old, who will soon travel through the UK, added: “Working on myself is a continuous process, and I am now going to take some time from the public eye to concentrate my energies where I need to be needed.”
