The company has already created an official account with the @TwitterHiring handle.
In an effort to crack down on LinkedIn, Twitter-led Elon Musk is introducing a feature to post jobs for verified organizations on the microblogging platform. While no formal announcement has been made as of yet, the feature has already been rolled out to a number of verified accounts, according to a report in TechCrunch. The mentions are placed under the bio of the company’s account on Twitter. The job postings connect potential candidates to their preferred organization’s website, where they can learn more about the position and apply.
Furthermore, the company has already created an official account with the handle @TwitterHiring. However, no announcements have been made so far. Nima Owji, an app researcher, took to the social media platform and posted a screenshot detailing the feature, which Twitter reportedly refers to as “Twitter Hiring”. According to the details of the screengrab, Twitter describes the feature as a way for verified organizations to attract talent to their open positions. Verified organizations can add up to five jobs to their profiles. The companies must “plug in a supported Applicant Tracking System or XML feed to add your job postings to Twitter in minutes.”
#Twitter let verified organizations import all their job postings to Twitter by plugging in a supported ATS or XML feed! 🚀

The billionaire, who is also the new owner of the microblogging platform, hinted at the feature’s launch in May. In response to a user’s suggestion that Twitter include dating services, Musk said: “Interesting idea, maybe jobs tooThis also seems to be a step towards Twitter becoming X, the everything app that Elon Musk previously announced.
According to TechCrunch, Twitter made its first acquisition since Musk bought the platform, a job-matching tech start-up called Laskie in May. It is likely that the acquisition helped the company create and release the new feature.
It is also likely that the job posting feature will cost nothing extra for verified organizations. A US-based media company WorkWeek has already started using the feature. The CEO Adam Ryan took to Twitter to share the new feature and took a look at Mark Zuckerberg’s recently launched Twitter rival Threads.
While there’s a ton of hype around Zuck copying and pasting from another app, Elon’s Twitter sends out products that make a lot of sense.
We just got access to posting jobs on our company page.
Considering we’ve hired over 20 people from Twitter, this is a no-brainer. pic.twitter.com/KcOaBvPNGb
