Twitter will sue Elon Musk to force the $44 billion deal to buy the company the billionaire now wants to leave, the social media giant’s board chairman said Friday.
“The Twitter Board is committed to closing the transaction at the price and terms agreed with Mr. Musk and plans to take legal action to enforce the merger agreement,” Bret Taylor tweeted. “We are confident that we will be victorious.”
