Russian soldiers who operated the tank were killed.
Ukrainian armed forces on Tuesday shared a video meme of a so-called “kamikaze” neutralizing a Russian tank. On social media, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces shared a 44-second clip showing an overview of a Russian position.
“A modern kamikaze drone, equipped with a high-powered explosive device, flew straight into the tank and caused irreparable damage to the enemy,” Ukrainian troops said in the Facebook post. It also added that Russian troops were quietly drinking alcohol in one of the positions, sitting on their tank’s armor, when the kamikaze drone was dropped from the sky.

#Ukraine: Ukrainian SSO (SOF) released rare footage of a kamikaze drone in action, which we identified as a US-supplied Switchblade 300, hitting a Russian T-72B3 tank with its crew on it.

According to the IndependentThis marks the first time Ukrainian officials have released a video of the US-supplied Switchblade drone in action.
The video features Star Wars theme music and theme song from the American sitcom Control your enthusiasm† It shows the Russian tank erupting in a fireball. A thick plume of smoke comes out of the tank. Then the footage rotates to a viewpoint, showing the scene from the drone’s perspective as it shoots down toward the Russian tank.

A green square can be seen in the center of the video, attached to the tank and the Russian soldiers sitting on top of the armored vehicle, indicating the target of the drone. Eventually the screen goes dark before the drone hits the tank.
In the caption, Ukrainian troops said the clip was captured by a camera on the drone. It added that the Russian soldiers operating the tank had been killed.
It is worth mentioning that the Swictable drones are among the deadly relief supplies given to Ukraine by the US as part of the security assistance package. “This is a great example of how the assistance of foreign partners along with the training and professionalism of our soldiers is bringing positive results at the front,” the social media post added.

Meanwhile, as per Independent, the switchable drones act as ammunition packed with explosives that explode on contact during an air raid. They are called “kamikaze drones” – a reference to the tactics used by Japanese pilots in World War II to load warplanes with explosives and fly them directly into Allied warships.
