Two giant baubles bigger than cars were spotted on the streets of central London. A video of it was shared on Twitter, the footage shows huge Christmas decorations in Tottenham Court Road blowing over the famous shopping street, Standard.co.uk reported. The strong wind caused the art installation to come loose.
Shot outside Center Point, the clip shows the huge mirrored bauble hitting a lamppost and dropping its glittering skin. Moments later, the ball is lifted into the air by strong wind. The video shows cars dodging the oversized balls as they tumble down uncontrollably.
According to Telegraph: “It comes as the Met Office warned of high winds and heavy rain expected to hit parts of the UK as November gets a stormy start. Part of Brighton’s derelict West Pier collapsed overnight after it was battered by Storm Claudio.”

The video was posted on social media platforms. One user wrote: “Clearly someone on Tottenham Court Road has replaced something valuable with a slightly lighter bag of sand.” Another user wrote: “Isn’t that New Oxford Street? Long time since I worked there, but I wasn’t convinced it’s TCR.
Giant baubles running wild would be an improvement on both streets.”
The third user wrote: “It must be a sign that it’s a little early, it was Halloween yesterday.” “That’s what you get when you put up Christmas decorations in November,” said the fourth.
The Telegraph reported that the Met Office said gusts were recorded at 7am on Tuesday at Langdon Bay in Kent, while 59 miles per hour were recorded at Heathrow at 4am.
