A woman in the United States of America has been charged with murder after she allegedly followed a man she believed was her boyfriend and hit him with her car. Twenty-six-year-old Gaylyn Morris was arrested by police in Indianapolis after she followed Andre Smith into a bar and followed him with an Apple AirTag. At the bar, she accused him of cheating and then hit him with her car, police said.
According to fox news, Morris told a witness that she was Andre Smith’s girlfriend and that she had followed him because she suspected him of cheating on her. One witness even told the news channel that when she saw him with another woman, she would use an empty wine bottle to attack the other woman. However, Mr Smith intervened after she attempted to assault the woman with a bottle, and bar staff asked all three parties involved to vacate the premises.
According to fox news, another witness stated that Mrs. Morris then “pulled forward and snapped the victim (Smith), and he went down, at which point … (Morris) then backed up over him and then pulled forward and pulled him in front of the struck third time”. This is also evident from a statement from the police. Other witnesses also allege that Mrs. Morris got out of the car to attack the other woman, who was still in the restaurant waiting for her food order at the time, but local police were already on the scene.
The local coroner also confirmed this by confirming that Mr Smith died as a result of being deliberately run over.
