Rohit Sharma's expression said it all after a disappointing call by umpire Joel Wilson on Day 1 of the fifth Test match between India and England in Dharamsala on Thursday. During the seventh over of India's innings, a delivery from James Anderson went down the leg side, hitting Rohit's thigh pad on the way, but England decided to appeal for a catch. The umpire raised his finger in response but Rohit immediately reviewed the decision and his expression made it clear that he was unhappy with the decision. Replays showed Rohit was right and the decision was overturned.
After Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin's spin tango, fifties by openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal took India to an impressive 135 for one on Day 1 of the fifth Test against England.
Captain Rohit (52 batting, 83 balls) and Jaiswal (57, 58b) plundered 104 runs for the opening wicket in just 20.4 overs as India quickly closed in on England's first innings, totaling 218 all out.

Kuldeep (5/72) and 100th Testman Ashwin (4/51) shared nine wickets between them as England were bowled out in their first innings for a woeful total.
Ravindra Jadeja also picked up a wicket as the Indian spin troika shared all 10 English wickets.
