MUMBAI: HDFC effectsone of India’s leading brokerage firms, on Monday launched an app that aims to tackle the entire gamut discount brokers who have captured a large market share in the stock trading space, mainly through low-cost service offers. Over the last few years, technology-driven discount brokers are into Zerodha, GrowUpstox and 5Paisa have brought a large number of traders and investors on board, usually at the expense of the large, full-service brokers.
