Nirmala Sitharaman acknowledged the IMF’s support to India’s G20 presidency in the form of input for developing evidence-based policy guidelines, the ministry said.
India assumed the presidency of the G20 for one year from 1 December last year. This year’s G20 summit will be held in New Delhi on September 9-10.
The G20 meetings are held in 56 cities, in all 28 states and 8 Union Territories of India.
