NEW DELHI: TelephonePe announced on saturday the launch of the Indus App Store developer platform and invited everyone Android app developers to list their applications on it.
These apps will be listed on the soon-to-launch “Made-in-India” Indus Appstore, which will offer a localized experience in 12 languages tailored for the Indian audience, according to a release.
“PhonePe today announced the launch of the Indus App Store Developer platform… Indus Appstore invites all Android app developers to register and upload their apps using the self-service developer platform “www.indusappstore.com”, the report said.
App listings on the Indus Appstore Developer Platform are free for the first year, after which a nominal annual fee applies.
“The Indus Appstore will not charge developers any platform fees or commission for in-app payments. Developers will have the freedom to integrate any payment gateway of their choice into their own apps,” the release said.
The Appstore will alsoLaunch pad‘ for new developers to integrate their apps and give them better visibility and search optimization.
