This school year, CBSE sent the grades directly to the schools. Schools currently calculate their results by adding the practical figures to the theoretical figures of the board. The end result of term 1 includes both theory and practice scores. The highest marks given to toppers are 100 percent or 40 out of 40 points.
“CBSE has started sending performance of class XII students to schools. Students can contact their respective schools,” the board said in an official statement.
The board further added in its official statement that wherever issues have been reported regarding the questionnaires or grading schedule, “the Board has exercised due care” and student performance has been calculated taking into account the revised Answer Key or appropriate points are awarded for fallen questions.
Regardless of their grades in the results of class 12 period 1, students can appear for period 2 exams starting from April 26 and continuing until June 15. It will be kept in offline mode and will contain subjective questions.
