CBSE had earlier announced that the 2024 board exam will be held from February 15 to April 10 and will last around 55 days.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to unveil the Class 10 date sheet. According to the reports, the date sheet is expected to be released in the first week of November. However, the official date and time for this release have not yet been announced by the board. Once these are available, students will be given the option to access and view the date sheet on the official CBSE websites at cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in.
The CBSE had earlier announced that the board exam for the year 2024 will be held from February 15 to April 10 and will last around 55 days. While a detailed and comprehensive schedule has yet to be officially released, it is expected to become available in the near future.
CBSE has earlier released the sample papers for Class 10. While students wait for the formal release of the date sheet, they can view and download these sample papers for different years. These sample papers can be accessed through the official CBSE website at cbseacademic.nic.in.
How to Download CBSE Class 10 Sample Papers?
Step 1: Navigate to cbseacademic.nic.in, the official website of CBSE.
Step 2: On the home page, find and click the Sample Question Paper tab.
Step 3: There you will find sample papers from different years.
Step 4: Now a set of sample question papers and marking scheme, broken down by subject, will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and print the sample paper according to your preference.
By attempting the sample papers provided, students can gain a better understanding of the exam format and the types of questions to expect. It is believed that these sample papers reflect the format of the main exam papers used in the previous year, as evidenced by feedback from both teachers and students. Furthermore, working through these practice papers can help students improve their speed and precision, thus easing their exam preparation process.
In the upcoming class 10 board exams, the question distribution will consist of 50 percent competency or case based questions, 20 percent answer type questions, 20 percent multiple choice questions (MCQs) and 30 percent constructed answer questions including both short answer and long answer questions answer. For Class 12, the question format will consist of 40 percent competency/case based questions, 20 percent answer type questions, 20 percent MCQs and 40 percent constructed answer questions.
