The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 July Session. Candidates who wish to apply for the entrance examination should visit the official website of CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in. The deadline to register for the entrance exam is May 26.
“The aspiring candidates only need to apply online through the CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. The online application process starts from 2023-04-27 (Thursday) and the last date for submitting online application is 2023-05-26 (Friday) until 11:59 AM. The contribution can be paid until 26-05-2023 (Friday) before 11:59 am,” the official message reads.

CTET JULY 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who have passed class 12 with a minimum of 45 per cent marks and passed graduation with 50 per cent marks, and after graduation with 55 per cent marks are eligible for the CTET 2023.
CTET JULY 2023: Steps to Register
Step 1: Visit CBSE CTET official website at ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the registration link CTET July 2023 available on the homepage.
Step 3: A new tab will open where candidates need to register first.
Step 4: Upon completion, candidates are required to fill the application form and pay the application fee.
Step 5: Click the submit button and download the confirmation page. Keep a paper copy of this for future reference.
CTET JULY 2023: Application Fee
Candidates from General and OBC categories only need to pay Rs 1000 for Paper I or II. Those who apply for both papers have to pay Rs 1200. For applicants falling under the categories of SC, ST and persons with other disabilities, the application fee is Rs. 500 for papers I or II while the fee for both papers is Rs. 600.
CTET JULY 2023: Selection process
The CTET consists of two papers: Paper I is for those who want to teach students in grades I through V, and Paper II is for those who want to teach students in grades VI through VIII. Each question on the CTET is a multiple choice question (MCQ) with four possible answers, only one of which is the best.
CTET JULY 2023: passed criteria
To pass the exam, candidates must achieve the minimum grades prescribed by the CBSE. The pass scores are determined individually based on categories. To pass the exam, students of the general category must obtain 90 out of 150 possible points. While SC and ST applicants have to get 82.5 out of 150 possible points. To qualify for the CTET 2023, students from the OBC category must obtain 82.5 out of 150 possible points.
