Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak) will host a two-day workshop on case method on December 20-21, 2022. The curriculum of business schools around the world is based on the analysis of real-life cases. This interactive workshop trains participants in case-based teaching and prepares them to write cases for class and publication.
This workshop is primarily intended for teachers in academic institutions who want to apply the case method in the classroom. It is also intended for case researchers and writers interested in developing cases and lesson notes, and for business learning and development specialists who want to apply the case method and learn about case development.
Case studies are known as one of the most effective business administration learning strategies. This workshop emphasizes the value of the case method in student learning. It is aimed at anyone interested in using case studies as a learning tool, as well as those interested in developing such learning cases.

The workshop facilitators are Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak, Prof. Anju Seth, former Director of IIM Calcutta, and Prof. Amit Jain, Associate Professor of Strategy & Policy, Industrial Systems Engineering and Management.
The entry fee for the workshop is Rs 11800. It includes workshop materials, lunch and drinks for the participants. The application fee for PhD students, research scientists is Rs 8000. The registration deadline is 10 December. All participants receive a participation certificate.
The workshop immerses participants in the case method through a case combination of case analysis and interactive exercises. Candidates learn how to use case studies to analyze and develop solutions to complex business problems, as managers do every day. The workshop will also help teach strategies for writing a case study that meets one’s learning goals.
