Students of Gujarat Government Schools get free online access to educational content that is in line with the curriculum of the state administration. Launched by ConnectEd Technologies in partnership with Everest Kanto Cylinders (EKC), it aims to provide quality educational content to government students in an effort to improve learning outcomes, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
As part of the program, more than 7,500 students studying in grades 9 and 10 of government schools under the Kutch County Administration will have free online access to a web and mobile app platform. It contains high-quality educational content in local languages, which is in sync with the Gujarat State Council curriculum, the edtech company claims. It can be viewed online or downloaded to a device for later viewing.

Initially, the initiative aims to benefit grade 9 and 10 students from schools in the Gandhidham block in Kutch. Subsequently, the initiative will be extended to students from other classes and regions of Gujarat, it adds.
In the course of this initiative, ConnectEd Technologies will partner with government schools to raise awareness among parents and students about the platform and teach them how to use every device at their disposal to access high-quality educational content. In addition, the edtech platform will provide school teachers with valuable metrics regarding content consumption by each student, enabling them to incentivize parents and students to achieve learning goals set by the school.
