The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the Counseling Schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 for the All India Quota and State-level medical college seats at nmc.org.in. While the AIQ will be done by the MCC, the state guidance will be done by the respective authorities. Of the total number of seats, no less than 15 percent of the seats will be filled by MCC and the remaining 85% of the seats will be filled by the state authorities.
The first round of state counseling will begin on January 27, followed by the second round, mop counseling and a stray vacancy round. The entire coaching process ends on March 20.

Meanwhile, AIQ counseling for 15 percent of seats begins tomorrow, January 19. It lasts until January 28, and the last date of accession is February 4. The second counseling process will start on February 9 to 18 and the last date to participate is February 26. The clean-up round will start on March 2 and will last until March 11. The last date to join is March 19. The stray vacancy round starts on March 21 and 22 and the last date to join is March 26.

“In order to ensure faithful obedience to the timetable and also to take into account the limited time available for counseling, all participating institutes/colleges are instructed to consider all Saturdays/Sundays and public holidays as working days the official message reads.
After the NEET tutoring process is over, students must apply to accept the seat by paying the entrance fees and report to the college for further document verification process. Those who did not get the desired medical college seats and courses can float the seat and wait for the next round of NEET 2021 counseling.
