The Medical Counseling Committee, (MCC), has published the state counseling schedule for the admission process to medical colleges based on the NEET score. The schematic can be downloaded at mcc.nic.in. Affected candidates can view the details here.
Admission for state-based seats starts from October 17 and ends on October 28. The 85 percent of seats in medical colleges fall under the state quota. The counseling process for the remaining 15 percent seats under the All India Quota will begin on October 11, as previously announced.

MCC has announced that it will hold NEET UG Counseling in four rounds, just like last year: Round 1, Round 2, Clearing Round and Lost Vacant. NEET UG counseling is held for admission through the 15 per All India Quota, AIQ seats available in government medical colleges, presumed universities, central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The official schedule further states that there will be two more rounds, namely the 2nd Clearing Round and the Lost Vacancy Round for BDS/B.Sc Nursing courses.
