NEET-UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET-UG 2024 on Sunday, May 5.
As many as 24 lakh students have registered for the medical entrance exam this year which will be held in 557 cities across the country and in 14 cities outside India. Meanwhile, the NEET-UG results will be declared on June 14.

The 3 hour and 20 minute exam starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 5:20 PM. The national testing agency has released a set of guidelines to be followed by candidates appearing for the NEET-UG exam this year, namely:
- Candidates must not be in possession of any object or article that is prohibited or could be used for unfair practices, including stationery, communications equipment, accessories, edibles, decorations or other material or information which may or may not be relevant to the examination in the concerning subject.

- NTA prohibits impersonation where someone else is asked to write the exam or prepare material for copying.
- It is prohibited to engage in malpractice, or to directly or indirectly provide or receive assistance, or to assist other candidates to engage in malpractice.
- Candidates are not permitted to write questions or answers on any material other than the answer sheet. All written work, including rough work, must be done on the basis of answer scripts provided by the Center Superintendent.
- NTA prohibits tearing of the answer sheet or any page of the test booklet.
- No one other than the exam staff may be contacted or communicated with during the exam time.
- The answer sheet (Original OMR/Office Copy OMR) may not be taken from the examination hall/room.
- It is not allowed to smuggle out the question paper or any part of it or the answer sheet or any part of it.
- Candidates should not threaten any of the officials involved in conducting the examination or any of the students.

- Manipulation and production of online documents such as admission tickets and ranking letters are prohibited.
- Forced entry/exit into/out of exam center/hall
- The use of any electronic device is prohibited after entering the examination center.
- Tampering, copying, providing incorrect information or deleting information in the OMR answer sheet is strictly prohibited.
