The co-founder and director of the Allen Career Institute, Brajesh Maheshwari, recently warned his teachers to leave the institute and move to the other offline coaching centers through edtech platforms. This comes after Unacademy announced it will open a coaching center in Kota and brought in several teachers from Allen. “Sharafat ki duniya khatam,” chief Allen says as he threatens the teachers leaving the institute.
Maheshwari shared a video statement and said that the Allen Institute will take action against teachers who leave the company and join other rival edtech platforms. He added that teachers who leave the institute will be blacklisted from working with Allen again. They are no longer allowed to participate.
Maheshwari said that teachers are greedy. “Jo koi jaata hai toh aaj se iss bat ko pakka krle, vo humesa k liye blacklisted by Allen,” Maheshwari said. (Any teacher who leaves will be blacklisted forever). He added that “Sharafat ki duniya khatam, jaise duniya waise hum.” (there is no more decency on earth, we will treat others as they treat us).
Allen currently has more than 10,000 teachers according to the official website. Founded on April 18, 1988 by Rajesh Maheshwari, it has trained more than 25 lakh students.

it is very sad that education has become a business. No one teaches us for ourselves, they only think about the prosperity of their institutions and teachers are busy increasing their wealth. It is very dangerous for the future of students@EduMinOfIndia https://t.co/0vNgCRngTC

Meanwhile, some Twitter users say there is nothing wrong with what Maheswari has said. ‘Don’t see anything wrong here. Just as the teachers are free to make decisions to move to other institutions, this kid is also free to make decisions not to let them go back. It’s a free world,” one user wrote. According to reports, Unacademy will soon start an offline coaching center in Kota.
