TN SSLC Results 2024: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will announce the results of the Class 10 exam 2024 at a press conference on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 9:30 am. Soon after the results are declared, the DGE will activate the results link on its official website tnresults.nic.in so that students can check their results.
As per tradition, the DGE Tamil Nadu will not reveal the names of the top students during the press conference. The board announces the city or district that records the highest pass rate and other important details. According to the DGE, the measure is aimed at reducing unhealthy competition.

TN SSLC Results 2024: Minimum Pass Marks
To be declared passed in the TN SSLC board exam, a student must secure a minimum of 35 marks in each subject. Those who fail to achieve the minimum qualifying marks will be declared failed by the board.
The DGE Tamil Nadu conducted Class 10 SSCL exams from March 26 to April 8 this year. According to DGE Tamil Nadu, around 9 lakh candidates have registered for the Class 10 board exam this year.
According to DGE data, around 9 lakh 14 thousand students appeared for the Class 10 board exam in 2023. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 SSLC students stood at 91.39%, an improvement over last year's 90.07%. A total of 23,971 students have been declared insufficient by the board. Girls outperformed boys by achieving a pass percentage of 94.66% compared to 88.16%. A total of 89 English students, 320 Social Studies students, 3584 Science students and 3649 Mathematics students obtained 100% marks.
