A cat in China accidentally turned on the induction stove in the owner's kitchen and set the house on fire, causing damage of over 100,000 yuan (Rs 11,67,641). According to the South China Morning Post, the cat's owner received a call from property management staff at her property on April 4, reporting that her house was on fire.

A few days later, Dandan posted an apology letter online, signed with her fingerprint and Jingoudiao's paw print. She admitted that it was her fault, because he forgot to turn off the power to the stove, and promised to pay attention to fire safety in the future.
