An old video by South African comedian and talk show host Trevor Noah, suggesting India is ‘colonising Britain’, has resurfaced amid a political crisis in the UK.
Already widely watched, British Prime Minister Liz Truss was plunged into even more chaos after Home Secretary Suella Braverman resigned. In her letter of resignation, Braverman criticized the way the current British government is handling the economic crisis.
Millions in Britain are skipping meals in the current cost of living crisis, according to a report.
Amid so much political turmoil in the UK, an old excerpt from Noah’s ‘The Daily Show’ has gone viral on social media. In the video, Noah suggests that in order to get things under control in Britain, one of “their ancient lands” would have to colonize it.

“Right now things are so bad in Britain that I think one of their old countries should just colonize them,” Noah says. “Look at these savages, they don’t know what they’re doing.”
“Someone should just come in and bring stability. India should come to England and say, ‘Look, look, look, we hate doing this, but you don’t know how to run yourself,'” said Noah. in the video . “We have to fix this whole thing.”
