Videos of wild animals being released into their natural habitat are always a joy to watch. Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, who regularly shares interesting wildlife facts and videos, shared a heartwarming video showing a rescued leopard being released into a forest.
Mr Kaswan shared the video with a caption that read: “That leopard was in a hurry. Successfully rescued and released into the wild. Without any untoward incident. Last night by our teams. Forest is a 24×7 job.”

The 19-second clip shows officials releasing the leopard into the forest at night after it has been rescued. Leopards, in particular, often wander into areas inhabited by humans. The feral cat was in a cage on the back of a small pickup truck. Once the officials open the cage and release it, the feral cat climbs out of the truck and runs to the woods.
The video has delighted social media users who used heart emoticons to spread love on the video. Many wrote how they are waiting for the day when animal captivity will end completely, and others thanked forest management for their efforts.
One user wrote: ”Well done. Nothing better than successfully releasing a wild animal back into the wild. Kudos to the team.” Another commented: “Huge respect to the Forest Department, they are actually true heroes of nature. Rescuing and rescuing precious gems from mother nature. Hats off.”
A third said: “I loved the way forest people work, full of energy and passion for the work!!” A fourth added: “That’s not easy at night either.”
A few days ago, he shared a video of a wild Bengal tiger drinking water on the side of a state highway passing through Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, Uttar Pradesh. The video shows the wildcat quenching its thirst as traffic on both sides waits for the jungle king to complete his task.
