Indian weddings are elaborate affairs that involve many rituals and are not complete without song and dance. Social media is full of videos of people dancing at weddings or pre-wedding ceremonies. Now such a video of a group of women surprising the bride with a special dance performance is going viral on the internet.
The clip shows the women dancing to their best friend’s Sangeet. However, their song choice and their dance choreography caught the attention of netizens. The group dances hilariously to a song from the popular cartoon series Shin Chan.

The short clip was originally shared on Instagram last year by user Rukmani Pandit Paul. “This was a mandatory song for us. Still can’t believe we did this onstage, and my munchkin is now married,” she wrote in the post’s caption. However, the video caught the attention of the internet when it was re-shared by a page called ‘luxury.wedding.india’.
The video shows four women in traditional clothing dancing hilariously ‘Balle Balle te Shava Shava’ from the cartoon show Shin Chan. “POV: Ending your best friend’s Sangeet ceremony,” read a text overlay on the screen.

Since the video was shared, it has garnered over 65,000 likes and over a million views. Internet users flooded the comment section with all sorts of responses.
“I want this,” one user wrote. “I’m not going to invite any of my friends to my wedding if they don’t act like that,” said another.
A third user commented, “Anyone who asks me to dance in a relative marriage. Now I know a song I’d dance,” while a fourth added, “I’m definitely going to try this.”
Some users even tagged their friends and family and wrote how they would do this dance at their wedding too. Many also responded with smile and fire emojis.
