Gwalior:
Two men carried on motorcycles robbed private company employees at gunpoint and evacuated with cash amounting to Rs 1.2 crore in Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh today, police said.
The incident occurred in the Jayendraganj area of the city around 12 noon, when two employees of a private company were on their way to a bank to deposit Rs 1.2 crore, said city superintendent of police (CSP) Rishikesh Meena.
According to the complaint, two unknown men arrived on a motorcycle and stopped the victim’s car. The men pointed a gun at the duo and fled with Rs 1.2 cash in the boot of the car, the official said.
Police are examining CCTV footage of the area and are questioning other employees, he said.
