The AAP will conduct 2,500 nukkad sabhas across Delhi to reach people and educate them about the BJP’s “authoritarianism”, following the arrest of its senior leader and former minister Manish Sisodia by the CBI in the excise case.
On Thursday, an organizational meeting was chaired by Gopal Rai, the state organizer of Delhi, and the state unit decided to organize mohalla sabhas and nukkad sabhas to reach out to residents and inform them “about the abuse of central agencies by the Modi government” , the AAP said in a statement.
Mr Rai said a volunteer rally will be held in all 70 constituencies in Delhi on March 3 to “expose” the BJP.
Subsequently, the party holds state-level mohalla sabhas on March 4 and rallies are organized at every polling station of Delhi on March 6 and 7. Finally, on March 10, nukkad sabhas will be organized in every district of Delhi to reach the residents.
“The AAP will hold mohalla sabhas in more than 2,500 districts of Delhi where the people will be informed about the authoritarianism of the BJP,” the statement said.
Rai, who is also the environment minister in the city government, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi “has taken an authoritarian approach and arrested the country’s top education minister, Manish Sisodia, and also abused the central authorities to put Satyendar Jain in jail.” hold”.
On Wednesday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with all MLAs and councilors and asked them to contact the people and inform them about the truth of the matter. During the meeting, it was decided that any plot and conspiracy of the BJP gets a strong answer.
“We will organize nukkad sabhas in every district of Delhi and reveal to the people the conspiracy organized by the Prime Minister to stop the Aam Aadmi party. Our leaders have been arrested for these reasons and we will inform the people about it,” he said . .
The senior leader said the initiative is currently being held at the state level, but the party will soon implement the program at the national level as well.
On Wednesday, Arvind Kejriwal had said that senior leaders of the party will come to the scene to tell people what is happening.
