New Delhi:
Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group, shared a video online of a young boy making sandwiches on a roadside food cart.
In the clip, 10-year-old Jaspreet can be seen making a spring roll. When asked, the boy said that his father had recently died of cerebral tuberculosis. The boy, who also has a 14-year-old sister, says their mother left them and refuses to take responsibility. Despite these challenges, Jaspreet manages to go to school in the morning and run his food cart in the evening.
Besides spring rolls, the young boy also sells chicken rolls, kebab rolls, paneer rolls, chowmein rolls and seekh kebab rolls.
While sharing the clip, Mr Mahindra asked for the boy's contact details. He wrote, “Courage, your name is Jaspreet. But his education should not suffer. I believe he is in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. If anyone has access to his contact number, please share. The team at the Mahindra- The foundation will investigate how we can support his education.”

This is not the first time that Anand Mahindra has helped a child. Previously, a young girl heroically saved her sister from monkeys that had entered their home. Soon after, the business mogul shared a post expressing his admiration and offered her a job with the Mahindra Group when she grows up. Click here to read it in detail.
