Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of jailed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, will tour Andhra Pradesh – ‘Nijam Gelavali’ (truth will prevail) as part of efforts to reach out to the people. She would visit families of people who reportedly died after hearing about former chief minister Naidu’s arrest.
Bhuvaneswari’s itinerary is planned in such a way that she visits at least two to three places a week.
Also, the ‘Bhavishyathuku Guarantee’ program, which came to a standstill after Naidu’s arrest in the Skill Development Corporation scam case, will be resumed under the leadership of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, a TDP said press release Thursday.
Meanwhile, the main opposition party in the state will hold a meeting in the coming days to outline its future plans and programmes.
Naidu is lodged in Rajamahendravaram Central Jail for embezzling funds from the Skill Development Corporation, resulting in an alleged loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state exchequer.
