The survivor of the 2017 kidnapping and assault case has written to the chief minister of Kerala and the state police chief asking for justice.
The survivor has filed for re-examination in the case against Dileep, days after a film director leveled new accusations against him.
“The survivor wants the allegations investigated and has a right to know what is the truth and what is not,” said a source close to the survivor.
The survivor – an actor who worked in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films – was kidnapped and allegedly molested in her car for two hours by some of the suspects, who were forced into the vehicle on the night of February 17, 2017 and later. . Last week during the hearing, the Public Prosecution Service also sought a new investigation into film director Balachandra Kumar’s damning allegations against actor Dileep.
The director claimed in his complaint to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan last month that he had seen the prime suspect in the Pulsar Suni case at actor Dileep’s home, but was repeatedly asked not to tell anyone.
He further accused Dileep of watching the tape of the attack at his residence with a group of friends before it was produced as evidence in court and has submitted the audio recordings of the actor’s home, including alleged attempts to steal important information. influence witnesses.
The letter further raises concerns about the legal process in this case, with the special prosecutor stopping — the second person will do so within a year — at a critical time of the court hearing.
The Supreme Court has set a February 16 deadline to complete the hearing.
The first special prosecutor was days after the Kerala Supreme Court rejected the survivor’s plea to change judges.
