New Delhi:
Delhi saw heavy rainfall for the second day in a row. The weather bureau said 24-hour rainfall in the national capital was the highest in 40 years. Many roads near markets and residential areas are under water. Commuters found it difficult to travel because the water accumulated in low-lying areas, such as under overpasses. Twelve people have been killed in the past two days due to heavy rainfall in various parts of northern India. The weather bureau has predicted more showers in the coming days.
