STREET STYLE
A photographer’s sidewalk outside the shows.
There’s just nothing quite like photographing people in Paris, but over the past two years, the scene has changed and evolved as the fashion shows stumbled through each wave of pandemic. Now the streets are full again. Camera technology allows beginners to take exceptional photos. Most notably, fans’ style level outside of the shows is so high that it would be foolish for the photographers who usually train their lenses on fashion editors and influencers wearing heritage brands to ignore them. It brings a newfound excitement, reminiscent of the old days when someone might have been discovered while shopping in a mall – a thrill like the kind you experience when you dig up a piece of jewel in a thrift store.
