Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on September 28 referred MPs’ complaints on the issue regarding use of offensive words by BJP member Ramesh Bidhuri against BSP’s Danish Ali to the Privileges Committee, news agency PTI officials quoted.
Earlier, several Opposition MPs, including Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and DMK’s Kanimozhi, took action against Bidhuri for his offensive words against BSP’s Danish Ali.
However, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said the BSP member ‘instigated’ the South Delhi MP as he spoke in the House of Representatives. Dubey also claimed that he had urged the Speaker to look into this aspect as well.
According to details, Birla has sent all these complaints to the Privileges Committee headed by BJP MP Sunil Kumar Singh.

Following this development, Dubey turned to X and thanked the Speaker for referring the matter to the committee.
Citing several previous incidents to claim that no committee was formed to look into these issues nor was anyone punished, Dubey wrote: “It was possible because the BJP has a majority in Lok Sabha.”
He also alleged that the RJD-JD(U) Congress members were involved in a fight involving shoes and microphones in 2006, Sonia Gandhi was involved in an incident in 2012 besides the commotion and injuries among parliamentarians in 2014 during the formation of Telangana as a separate state.
Meanwhile, reports emerged that BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri, and himself, faced extreme criticism when he uttered a communal slur against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali, now a have been given key responsibility in the upcoming crucial Rajasthan Assembly elections.
According to reports, he has been appointed election chief of Tonk constituency in Rajasthan, Congress leader Sachin Pilot’s stronghold.
