Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is all set to lead the Gujarat Titans in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This will be Hardik’s first assignment as the leader of an IPL franchise and cricket enthusiasts will be eager to know if he is able to live up to expectations. IPL 2022 starts on March 26, but Gujarat Titans will play their first match on March 28.
Ahead of the tournament, Hardik Pandya has opened up his expectations for the season and how he sees Gujarat performing.
“I’m really happy with the team, it’s a new team. To be honest, we’re not here to prove anything, we’re here to play good cricket. We’re here to make sure the environment is good and that players can thrive.” There is no expectation as such, we will be a team that will make sure it continues to improve,” Hardik said in a video posted to IPL’s official Twitter handle.
