The Indian cricket team jersey for the 2024 T2024 World Cup was launched on Tuesday. The jersey has seen quite a change from the one worn by the Rohit Sharma-led side during the ODI World Cup 2023. This time, the blue and orange shade are quite prominent. Rohit Sharma and his men will wear the jersey as they look to break India's drought in ICC events. India last won an ICC trophy in 2013 when MS Dhoni was still captain. Since then, India have come close but failed to win the ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy and World Test Championship.
According to Adidas' official site, the price of the shirt is Rs 5,999 for a regular size.
Interestingly, you can go from Delhi to Goa at a cheaper price this month. Several prominent travel booking sites revealed that the price of Delhi-Goa tickets will be below Rs 5,500 in the coming month.
Sportswear brand Adidas took to social media to preview the official jersey and the video featured Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma along with his teammates Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. There were rumors of a possible leak related to the shirt design, but fans on social media were excited about the launch and most of them expressed their anticipation for the tournament.
