Chaos reigned in a local league match in India when three batters were spotted on the field at the same time, following a comical error by the fielding team. After hitting a delivery towards mid-wicket, a batsman made hard yards to complete a double as the wicketkeeper missed the opportunity to run him out. However, the non-striker side batter had other ideas as he ran for a third run with his partner on the ground after running home to avoid a run-out.
The field team had a golden opportunity to let the non-striker run out. However, they missed the chance after another mistake from the keeper, who uprooted the stumps instead of throwing the ball to the non-striker's end.
Amid all the chaos, a third batter entered the field, thinking one of his teammates was being run out during the comedy of errors.
While the two batters tried to score a few extra runs, he stood behind the striker's goal. He even instructed his teammates to complete the run.
Ultimately, the bowling team was able to score a run-out when the two batters already on the field retired from the non-striker due to exhaustion.
