Samsung is gearing up to host the Galaxy Unpacked launch event on August 10. The South Korean tech giant is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones at this upcoming event. Numerous rumors about the specifications and design of these handsets have surfaced, while Samsung is keeping the information secret for now. However, it seems that Samsung has dropped the color and storage options of the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The different color options and storage configuration choices were initially noticed by Reddit users u/AlexQuakeZ (via 9to5Google) on Samsung Care+ insurance. We were also able to confirm the existence of these entries. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is listed with 128 GB and 256 GB of onboard storage options. Recent rumors had suggested that this foldable Samsung smartphone might also have a 512GB storage variant. However, this option is not yet on the insurance site.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes in blue, bora purple, graphite and rose gold. These options also showed up in the recently leaked design renders of the handset. The frame color options, possibly for the Bespoke Edition variant, are also mentioned: black, silver and gold. Samsung will apparently offer green, navy, red, yellow and white colors for this variant, bringing the total number of combinations to more than 70.
A recent report suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 may offer more than 1,000 color combinations. However, this now appears not to be the case. As a reminder, Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition in October last year. With this variant, Samsung customers can manually select the colors for the frame, top and bottom panels from the available options.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 10 at 9am ET / 6:30pm IST. At the event, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4, along with the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
