New Delhi:
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said Friday that subscribed users can post movies, TV shows or podcasts to the platform and make money through monetization.
Replying to his sister Tosca Musk, who co-founded streaming service Passionflix, the tech billionaire said users can now post their full-length movies to X.
“Post your movies, TV shows or podcasts on this platform and generate revenue by enabling subscriptions,” Elon said.
Tosca wrote: “I love that people watch my films here on X.”
One user even suggested that X let him post movies and charge a one-time fee.
“This way people can buy the film without having to buy a subscription. X will become a real film platform,” said the user.
“However, X would need a seriously updated video playback mechanism. I would love to see that happen,” wrote another.
Meanwhile, Elon also informed his followers that the 'AI Audiences' feature will be available soon.
“Succinctly describe the target audience for your ads and our AI systems will generate a pool of the most relevant X users to target in seconds,” he explains.
