Lok Sabha MP and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Navneet reiterated her statement on AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi and said, “We are committed to giving a response to those working for Pakistan in India.”
The latest jab comes after BJP leader Navneet Rana launched a scathing attack on AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin, saying that if the police were relieved from duty for “15 seconds”, the brothers would not know where they came from and where they came from. they went.
“The youngest (Akbarauddin) says: remove the police for 15 minutes and we will show what we can do. Let me say to the younger one, you need 15 minutes; for us it only takes 15 seconds. If you remove the police for 15 minutes, Within 15 seconds you won't remember where you came from and where you left,” Rana said. These threats were made on Wednesday when Navneet Rana was campaigning in support of the BJP candidate in Hyderabad, K Madhavi Latha.
On Thursday, Navneet Rana reiterated her stand: “I always stand by my statement. I'm not afraid of anyone. If they take 15 minutes, we will take 15 seconds….”
Navneet Rana's blistering attack came in response to a controversial 2013 speech by AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, in which he said it would take them just “15 minutes” to balance the “Hindu-Muslim ratio” in the country if the police would be removed.
After Navneet Rana's threats were made public, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi responded: “I am telling Modi ji, give her 15 seconds. What are you going to do?… Give her 15 seconds, give her 1 hour. We also want to see if you still have humanity left in you. Who is afraid? We are ready… If anyone calls for it openly, then so be it,” Owaisi said while speaking to the media.
'Tell us where to go, we will be there. Do it,” the AIMIM chief said, adding, “PM is yours, RSS is yours, everything is yours. Do it. Who's stopping you?”
On comments reported by Navneet Rana that a vote for AIMIM would go to Pakistan, Owaisi said RSS and BJP harbor hatred towards the country's diversity and pluralism. The RSS ideology must be defeated, he said. Owaisi said that Prime Minister Modi had suddenly landed in Pakistan from Afghanistan and reached the residence of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 2014. “What was that?” he asked.
When told that the controversy started with the '15 Minutes' comments by his brother Akbaruddin, he said the matter had been decided in court. “We say do it. Why do you say that? We are sitting here. Do it. We say do it. You have to do it,” he said, further emphasizing his point.
