Jerusalem:
The Israeli military told AFP on Thursday that its plane had hit a “Hezbollah commander” in southern Lebanon, claiming he was involved in cross-border missile attacks.
The confirmation came after a Lebanese security source earlier said a military official from the Iran-backed group was “seriously injured” in an Israeli airstrike on a car in the city of Nabatiyeh.
