Jerusalem:
Israel's communications minister ordered the seizure of Al Jazeera's broadcasting equipment on Sunday, after the government decided to close the Qatar-based news channel, with which it had a long-standing feud.
According to Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi's order, Israel will seize devices “used to deliver the channel's content,” including mounting and routing equipment, cameras, microphones, servers and laptops, as well as wireless transmission equipment and some mobile phones .
